The SICF website was programmed according to the latest guidelines from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for HTML 4.01 (strict DTD) and CSS 2.0. A correct display is only guaranteed with the latest generations of browsers. We recommend Mozilla Firefox, which is available for all operating systems.
The SICF website does not use any superfluous script languages, browser-specific implementations or cookies which would threaten the security of your computer. In order to prevent email addresses from being recognised and filtered out for spamming, they are replaced by a random sequence of numerical and hexadecimal values.
The layout of the SICF website was designed to fit the A4 portrait format and should work with all current browsers. Before printing, please always check via File -> Page Setup whether the paper size is really set to A4 and the orientation to portrait.
Some of the texts on the SICF website are also available as PDF files, which you can download by clicking on the relevant symbols. If you have installed Acrobat Reader and do not want files to open automatically every time you click on them, you can deactivate this function by clicking on Tools -> Options -> Applications.
